Bolivia Bound

Tomorrow I have the opportunity to board a plane headed to Santa Cruz, Bolivia for two weeks.

The Element is sending 16 students and 5 leaders to serve a boys orphanage and construct a chicken coop along side the boys who live there.  This chicken coop will provide sustainable income for the boys home for years after we leave.
Keep us in your prayers as we go. There’s no doubt that this will be a life changing experience for all involved.

*I’m not planing on updating the blog when were there but know that I’ll be coming back with some epic stories and pictures.

Intro Summer Interns

The Element Staff is so stoked to introduce you to our summer interns. If you see them walking around the church feel free to give them a pat on the head or ask them to get you coffee cause that’s what interns do (right?).

Seriously, these guys are going to add so much to The Element and thus Discovery team this summer. When we look at each one of them we see the future of The Church. We’re so proud to be apart of their development.

Watch their intro videos below.

Irreverent Podcast: Should Christians Curse?

The crew at Irreverent Podcast invited me in to tackle the question: “should Christians curse”.

I always have a great time with these guys and for some reason they keep inviting me to sit at the table with them and dive into the truths of Scripture.  If you’ve ever thought about this question or just enjoy listening to some entertaining banter, give it a listen.  You can find Irreverent Podcast on iTunes by clicking HERE.

Check it out and don’t hesitate to write in your questions to questions@irreverentpodcast.com.
