Taking a tour of the orphanage

The room the guys stayed in.

Our team went to build the walls and lay the foundation of a chicken house to help the orphanage with sustainable income.

What a beautiful place!

With the language barrier we could not communicate very well with with the kids so we resorted to wrestling. It was a beautiful thing.

They joined in! This was easily one of my favorite nights.

The kids LOVED to arm wrestle

He won!

The boy on the left is Hector. This was his first night. I'l be telling his story in an upcoming post.

I grew so attached to these boys. They were my lunch buddies.

I would hang out with him everyday if I could

We worked hard on the chicken house and struggled through the language barrier, but saying goodbye was the toughest part of this entire experience.
This is only part one of this story. Â As the words come to me I’ll post more.
Until then, enjoy this video…
